My friend Eric emailed me a link to Mary K. Greer’s blog a while back, where she discusses poet laureate Kay Ryan’s use of the tarot as a daily writing exercise (see link to right). In that blog post, Greer links to an interview with Alice Notley from PhillySound: New Poetry, in which she discusses writing in trance, the process behind several of her books, and teaching trance and tarot in the creative writing classroom.
